This is such an authentic bengali dish. Made with the blend of mustard which gives a nice aroma and taste to it. Prepared in less time this dish is perfect for your lunch with rice.

INGREDIENTS
• Small/Medium Sized Prawns – 250 Gms
• 2 Medium Sized Potatoes Cut Into Small Pieces
• 1 Medium Sized Tomato Chopped
• 1 Medium Sized Onion Chopped
• Turmeric Powder – 1/2 Tsp
• Red Chili Powder – 1/2 Tsp
• Mustard Paste – 2 Tsp
• Slitted Green Chilies – 3 – 4 Nos.
• Bengali Panch Foron – 1/2 Tsp
• Salt, Sugar According To Taste
• Mustard Oil
METHODS
1) Marinate the prawns with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp turmeric powder. Mix and set aside for 5 mins.
2) Heat a kadai and add 3 tbsp mustard oil when it start to smoke lightly low the flame and add prawns and fry over medium flame.
3) Do not over fry the prawns. Take out after 2 mins.
4) Add 1/2 tsp panch foron once it splutters add chopped onion, potatoes, tomato, salt, turmeric & red chilli powder mix well.
5) Saute for 2-3 mins . Now add 1 cup water cover and cook over a medium to low flame for 7-8 mins .
6) Remove the lid and check whether the potatoes is soft . Now add fried prawns, mustard paste, slitted green
chillies & Sugar according to taste.
7) Cover and cook over a medium to low flame for 5 mins.
8) After 5 mins remove the lid and turn off the flame. Add 1 tsp mustard oil and mix well.
Chingri macher bati chorchori is ready to serve hot with steamed rice.
